DIDAR / دیدار

An immersive audio-visual experience inside an ancient fire temple, reacting to the music and the crowd alike.

DIDAR’ was an immersive, underwater-inspired audiovisual installation powered by TouchDesigner for real-time projection mapping and Ableton for live electronic music. The vibrant blue-and-green aquatic visuals dynamically morphed based on two interactive inputs: live music data and real-time audience motion captured via Kinect, creating an ethereal and memorable experience for both performers and attendees

This performance marked the second interactive installation project held in the historic fire temple of Deir Gachin Caravanserai. The ancient brick archways provided a striking contrast to the fluid, digital projections, creating a dialogue between historical architecture and contemporary digital art. The electronic music performance was delivered by artist "Mobin Mirkamal", complementing the visual elements with an atmospheric soundscape that enhanced the underwater theme.
